DIAMOND CHASE STRETCH & GLUE
Diamond Chase Stretch & Glue frames are manufactured from high-quality, custom-made extrusions. Specifically designed by Diamond Chase, these profiles have rounded edges for comfortable handling and are engineered for the strength and weight characteristics required. Each frame is welded watertight, leveled and sandblasted for excellent adhesion.
DIAMOND CHASE DOUBLE HOLLOW™
The Double Hollow design involves two stacked hollow sections in the frame. This allows for greater tensioning capacity with only a minimal (25 to 30%) increase in the weight of the frame.
The addition of a third horizontal member within the interior of the frame greatly reduces frame deflection under high tensions. Deflection in most circumstances has been reduced more than 50%. Stronger is better.
Stronger construction allows the frame profile to be narrower compared to the average stretch and glue frame commonly used today. This narrower frame profile allows for greater image areas and optimum printing capacity.
BECKER™ RIGID ALUMINUM FRAMES
Custom-made to your exact requirements, these quality welded metal frames are much stronger than inferior wood frames, yet are conveniently lightweight and are more corrosion resistant.
They are constructed with a surface ground or sandblast finish for excellent adhesion. Choose from a wide variety of profiles as well as wall thicknesses to meet strength requirements.
NEWMAN ROLLER FRAMES®
SELF-TENSIONING/RETENSIONABLE
Retensionable printing frames allow for unlimited retensionability in order to achieve ultra-high tensions. Whether printing manual or automatic, ultra-high tension levels provide:
Higher snap force, therefore faster squeegee speeds and a shorter printing stroke
Less squeegee pressure, results in:
- Less ink penetration into textiles for more opaque coverage
- Reduced ink consumption
- Less ink build-up on print side of screens, therefore fewer wipe downs
- No need to re-register
With the Newman Roller Frame, you can achieve high and even tension throughout the screen. Newman Roller Frames allow for retensioning after reclaiming, further workhardening the mesh to even higher and more stable tension levels after each new print run.
This provides the high snap force needed to print faster and more accurately. Thus you’ll see precise repeatability and consistency from print run to print run.
DIAMOND CHASE DRAW-BAR™ FRAMES
The Draw-Bar Frame system is a U-shaped channel with an enclosed fabric locking bar. It is drawn outward with numerous bolts to tension and adjust the screen-printing fabric. The Draw-Bars are manufactured for maximum flexibility and strength to achieve perfect screen tensions throughout the image area.
The ease of the locking systems allow for excellent fabric installation and alignment. The ability to adjust on-press misregistration within the frame itself makes it the most accurate system available.
The locking systems commonly used with the Draw-Bar Frames are the Keystone™ Nylon and Top Loading™. The Keystone system utilizes a single tapered nylon rod which slides into the Draw-Bar through the end of the frame. This system is recommended for wire mesh and frames with narrow profiles because of its pretensioning ability.
The Top Loading system uses two round rods which are snapped into the Draw-Bar with a wheel-type insertion tool. This locking system allows for the fabric to be secured simply and evenly. The round nylon rods come in three color-coded diameters to accommodate all mesh counts.
DIAMOND CHASE ROLLER CHASE™ FRAMES
The Roller Chase is a high-quality industrial roller frame designed for high tensions and long-term durability. The all metal construction has the hardware welded to the ends of the roller, making it 100% waterproof and very strong.
Diamond Chase’s patent covers the end construction of the rollers with a welded tensioning nut and locking bolt, which permanently seals the frame against leakage.The opposite ends of the rollers are reverse threaded to prevent warpage during tensioning and any unwanted slippage of the roller.
The right and left-hand threads on each roller increase in torque as the fabric tension attempts to counter-rotate the roller, thus preventing any loosening of the roller under high tensions. The ease of the locking systems allows for excellent fabric installation and alignment.
DIAMOND CHASE LARGE FORMAT ROLLER CHASE™
To accommodate the rigorous requirements of large format printing, the Roller Chase, Draw-Bar frame, Tension-Quik and Stretch & Glue frames are all available in reinforced, enlarged profiles.
The Roller Chase Large Format combines our roller system with an external, sectional support frame. Additionally, the main support frame fully encloses the tensioning roller, preventing fabric damage due to the awkward handling associated with large format printing.
Every large format frame comes welded and assembled for a one-piece durable frame.
DIAMOND CHASE TENSION-QUIK™ (Screen Stretcher)
The Tension-Quik is a low-cost, easy-to-use screen stretching system. Combined with stretch-and-glue frames, the Tension-Quik, as an adjustable or welded stretcher, is the least expensive route to high-tension levels.
As a frame, it provides a fast screen-making system. One tool – one motion.
LOCKING SYSTEMS
The locking systems commonly used with the Tension-Quik are the Top-Loading™ and the Keystone™ Nylon. The Top-Loading system uses two round rods which are snapped into the roller with the assistance of a wheel type insertion tool.
This locking system allows for the fabric to be secured simply and evenly. The round nylon rods come in three color-coded diameters to accommodate all mesh counts. The Keystone Nylon system utilizes a single tapered nylon rod which slides into the roller through the end of the frame channel. This system is recommended for wire mesh and very large stretchers because of its pre-tensioning ability.
The Tension-Quik is primarily manufactured as an adjustable screen stretcher for stretchand-glue frames. Four independent channels link together allowing the unit to move in and out, adjusting the size in both directions.
The channels enclose a tensioning roller that ratchets in a clockwise rotation to tension the mesh. Each roller has a fabric locking system to easily and securely capture the mesh. The Top-Loading locking system or the Keystone locking system are available in the Tension-Quik.
A welded model operates in the same manner as the adjustable unit, only the frame channels are welded to one specific size. This model is recommended only when one frame size is being used, or if the unit will
be secured to a table.
The Tension-Quik can also be manufactured as a printing frame. As a frame, the corners are mitered and fully-welded. Guaranteed watertight.
